10 Ways you can help with our work

Volunteer, get involved

Volunteer, get involved video

Volunteering gets you involved in your community. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to learn new things, meet new people, share your own skills and, best of all, create positive change in people’s lives – and that includes your own.

Volunteers are an important part of what makes UnitingCare such a good place to be.

You don’t need any qualifications because everyone has their own special talents and strengths and you will also be mentored and trained along the way.

There are many ways you can become involved and help us with our work: from sharing your expertise on a Board to reading with children, sharing your musical talents, visiting elderly people and much more.

Something as easy as visiting an elderly person in one of our facilities can make a significant contribution to the life of that person.

It’s effortless to become a volunteer- all you need to do is fill out a couple of forms and we will have you working in no time.
